Shelley Klingerman, who is also executive director of Launch Terre Haute, says the message at Wednesday’s day-long gathering will be particularly important in the Wabash Valley, which is home to a high number of college students at schools like Indiana State University, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College. Inside INdiana Business host and Grow Indiana Media Ventures LLC President Gerry Dick delivered opening remarks.
"It’s funny, because the speakers who are most vulnerable get the highest marks," Klingerman said during an interview on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick. "People really like to make that connection. Like, ‘if they got passed it, I can get passed it.’"
