A rolled aluminum products company in Terre Haute has announced layoffs. Our partners at WTHI-TV report the decision by Novelis affects 11 workers. The company says it is making the cuts due to declining market share. The company says it is losing ground due to the lower cost of imports.

Novelis also plans to idle some of its equipment at the Terre Haute plant.
