Governor-elect Eric Holcomb has named Allen County Auditor Tera Klutz as Indiana’s next state auditor. She will succeed Suzanne Crouch, who is leaving the position to become lieutenant governor. Klutz was elected Allen County auditor in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. She previously served as the county’s chief deputy auditor and is currently president-elect of the Indiana Auditor’s Association. Holcomb’s office says Klutz will be the first certified public accountant to serve as state auditor in Indiana history. Before entering the public sector, Klutz was a senior accountant and auditor with the PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLC and Crowe Chizek LLC. She earned her degree from Indiana University in Fort Wayne.
