A grand opening celebration is set for Saturday for the Pearson Automotive Tennis Club in Zionsville. A spokesperson for the club says the $3.5 million facility has led to around 20 jobs.
The facility includes eight USTA regulation-sized tennis courts and will host a variety of clinics, lessons, leagues and tournaments. It also includes a mezzanine with views of all courts, large-screen TVs, ping-pong tables and lounging areas.
PATC Director Rick Witsken says the facility features a staff of instructors with more than 100 years of playing and teaching experience. The grand opening will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday. It will feature free tennis activities, on-court demos and club tours, among other activities.
