Tech Firm to Open New Fort Wayne HQ

Fort Wayne-based digital marketing firm Aptera Inc. will Friday celebrate the grand opening of its new headquarters. The company has invested more than $2 million to renovate a formerly-vacant building in the city’s downtown and plans to add at least 20 jobs as a result of the move.
The company, which moved to downtown Fort Wayne 10 years ago, currently has about 90 employees. Co-founder T.K. Herman says the ability to add jobs and complete for talented workers is a testament to the revitalization of downtown Fort Wayne.
"It’s been amazing to see the transformation over the last nine years and I would emphatically say yes, the things that are happening downtown are absolutely not only allowing us to attract, but also retain people, for sure," Herman said.
The company will cut the ribbon on the new headquarters, located at 113 W. Berry Street, Friday morning.
