Tech Company Growing up in Zionsville

The cloud-based platform-as-a-service provider says it will invest $700,000 into relocating to a larger building in the town’s downtown. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered an incentive package that involves up to $2.6 million in conditional tax credits and training grants.
Clear Software says hiring is underway to fill sales, marketing, client services and software development positions. Chief Executive Officer Jon Gilman says "Indiana’s pro-business policies and geographically-centric location are strategic for our long-term growth. Additionally, Indiana’s booming technology industry continues to provide a fantastic talent pool of highly-skilled employees and easy access to capital."
The company’s clients include Blue Cross Blue Shield and Seventy Seventy Energy. It was founded in 2012 in Chicago, is currently located at zWORKS co-working space in Zionsville.
In February, Clear Software announced it had oversubscribed on a round of seed funding from a team of outside investors. Chicago-based Hyde Park Venture Partners was part of the group and also made another significant investment in 2015. Clear Software was a nominee this year in the Best New Tech Product category at TechPoint’s Mira Awards.
