An Indianapolis-based tech startup has announced expansion plans. Costello, which provides a deal management software platform for sales teams, will add to its current space inside The Union 525 in downtown Indy and add 65 jobs by 2021.
Costello says the expansion of its presence inside the coworking space will take place over the next few weeks. The company launched its software platform in September after securing a $1 million round of funding.
"We appreciate the support we’ve received from the IEDC and the City of Indianapolis. Indiana is one of the best places in the country to grow technology companies," said Frank Dale, co-founder of Costello. "Indiana’s talented workforce and pro-business government helped companies like ExactTarget, Interactive Intelligence, and Compendium to become successful. We’re looking forward to creating more jobs in Indiana."
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered Costello up to $950,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $100,000 in training grants. The company will be able to claim the incentives once its hiring goals are met.
