Indianapolis-based InnovateMap LLC is planning to add more than 20 workers. The company, which provides technology advisory and marketing services, has worked with clients including PERQ, Delivra, LightBound and TCC Software Solutions. February 3, 2015

News Release

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – InnovateMap, a new technology and software product agency, has already made an impact in the Indianapolis technology community, helping more than 15 clients dream, design and deliver better products.

The company, comprised of product managers, UX designers and product marketing professionals, has already shown significant growth and success in its first year. InnovateMap will continue investing back into the community and create new full-time, high-wage positions for Indiana resident employees.

Indiana has emerged as a tech sector leader, helping rising companies like InnovateMap grow into their own and find success here at home,” said Eric Doden, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). “We're committed to helping develop our tech community into one of the nation’s strongest, with a low-tax, affordable environment that makes it easy to take your idea and get started.”

According to a 2014 survey by research firm Gartner, Inc, cost, innovation, and agility are the most important factors when adopting software.

In order to help companies make the most agile, cost-effective and cutting edge software and technology products, CEO Mike Reynolds founded InnovateMap in 2014. The product agency works with software executives and R&D teams to update and improve a product’s marketability, value and usability.

Since launching, InnovateMap has worked with a variety of technology companies to help them boost sales and create well-designed, easy-to-use software products. They have partnered with many local technology companies including PERQ, Delivra, LightBound and TCC Software Solutions, as well as several tech startups.

“We are extremely thankful to be doing business in Indiana,” founder and CEO Mike Reynolds said. “The state's training investment will allow InnovateMap to stay on the cutting edge of User Experience and SaaS product trends–some of the most rapidly changing technical domains. This will enable us to better serve our clients while providing them with a competitive advantage.”

In order to support this growing need for product expertise, InnovateMap plans to hire more than 20 top-performing product professionals over the next several years. The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered InnovateMap, LLC up to $485,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $67,500 in training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These incentives are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. InnovateMap partnered with FairWinds Advisors on the IEDC project.
