Tech Companies Adding Jobs in Indianapolis

Aura IT Consulting and Return Path have announced plans to expand their Indianapolis offices and add a total of nearly 50 jobs over the next few years. Aura IT's services include strategic infrastructure projects and custom application development. The company says it will invest more than $500,000 in the expansion project. Aura plans to add up to 22 jobs by 2019, which would approximately double its work force. The company says it will begin hiring software developers, project managers, network engineers and business analysts later this year.
Return Path offers services including email optimization and email fraud protection. The company plans to invest nearly $350,000 to lease and equip space in downtown Indianapolis' Market Tower and create up to 27 jobs by 2019. Return Path is headquartered in New York and has about 470 employees worldwide.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered the companies a total of nearly $700,000 in conditional tax credits and training grants based on their hiring plans.
