Team Quality Services Investing in Auburn

Subscribe NowAuburn-based Team Quality Services Inc. says it will invest $2.8 million to expand its headquarters. The industrial consulting company plans to double its DeKalb County workforce with up to 20 additional employees by 2021. The 14,000 square-foot expansion, TQS says, will more than triple its current footprint in Auburn and include space that will be available for lease.
The company’s customers include manufacturers with a presence in Indiana such as Honda, Subaru, Toyota and General Motors. The new facility is scheduled to open in October 2019.
Founder and President Chris Straw says "we are thankful and excited that our expanding business has allowed us the opportunity to join in the revitalization that we are seeing in downtown Auburn. In today’s business climate, all of these improvements in our community are crucial to attracting and retaining a talented workforce."
TQS plans to add sales and operations positions as it looks to grow its North American clients base. It works with customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico and has expertise in the automotive, healthcare, medical device and aerospace industries. TQS has been offered up to $160,000 in conditional tax and training incentives through the Indiana Economic Development Corp.
