Teacher Evaluation Software Company Makes Acquisition

Cloverdale-based tech company Standard For Success LLC has announced the acquisition of a Michigan-based software company. Financial details of the deal for STAGES Software were not disclosed, however SFS says a small number of STAGES employees will be retained.
SFS and STAGES both produce employee evaluation software focusing on the education sector. SFS says the acquisition will allow the company to synchronize and customize evaluation processes for nearly 2,000 schools throughout the U.S. and Canada.
"Bringing together the best features of STAGES and SFS allows us to continue to grow and expand our software platform to meet the ever-changing needs of our clients. We look forward to serving more schools and welcoming STAGES customers to the SFS family," said Todd Whitlock, chief executive officer of Standard For Success. "We believe our strong commitment to customer service not only echoes but builds upon what STAGES customers have come to expect."
Whitlock says SFS will retain two client engagement specialists and one software engineer from STAGES. Those employees will continue to offer support for STAGES software through the 2018-2019 academic year.
SFS currently has 20 employees and consultants serving nearly 2,000 schools. The company has twice been nominated for the Education Tech Award at the Techpoint Mira Awards.
