Bargersville-based Taxman Brewing Co. took home major honors at the 2021 World Beer Awards. The brewery was the only one from Indiana and one of just a few from the United States to receive awards in the year’s competition.

Taxman won the World’s Best Dark Beer award for its Qualified Belgian-style ale. The beer also won in its individual category of World’s Best Dark Belgian Style Strong for the second consecutive year. Additionally, the brewery won the World’s Best Flavoured Stout/Porter award for its Maple Vanilla Deadline 2021 stout.
