Target Testing Rewards Program in Indy

Target Corp. (NYSE: TGT) has expanded the test of a new rewards program to markets including Indianapolis. Target Circle, which does not require a credit card, includes deals based on a shopper’s behaviors.
The free program, which began in Dallas-Fort Worth, has also expanded to Charlotte, Denver, Kansas City and Phoenix. The company says hundreds of thousands of people has signed up so far.
The retailer says users will earn 1 percent back on Target purchases to redeem later as well as additional deals on their birthday. Target Chief Marketing Officer Rick Gomez says the program provides "the most personalized way to shop Target yet."
