She will also oversee all functions of the Indiana Restaurant and Lodging Association, Indiana Association of Beverage Retailers and other association clients. Shrock previously served as deputy chief of staff and communications director for the Indiana Senate Democratic Caucus for eight years. In addition, she also facilitated the caucus’ Hispanic Affairs program. Shrock will bring more than a decade of experience in public relations, staff management, political communications and knowledge of the legislative process. A graduate of Butler University, she studied broadcast journalism and has worked in both TV and radio news. Shrock is a regular food and dining writer for publications such as No Mean City, EÑE, Note Magazine and her own blog, Indy Food Maven.
