Symphony on the Prairie to Kick Off
A popular summer concert series in central Indiana is gearing up for its 2019 season. The Kroger Symphony on the Prairie returns to Conner Prairie in Fishers and will feature a few enhancements teased by the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra at the end of 2018. This season, attendees will see three large LED screens that will capture everything that happens on stage, in addition to reserved seating being made available for select performances.
In an interview with Inside INdiana Business Reporter Mary-Rachel Redman, ISO Director of Communications Kristin Cutler said the 2019 season will feature a diverse array of performers.
"We are just hitting every genre imaginable," said Cutler. "We have Smokey Robinson. We have 98 Degrees, En Vogue, Wynonna, Scott McCreery, the list goes on and on. So regardless of what type of music you like, we’ve got a great concert for you and it’s just a really fun experience."
The 2019 season will kick off with the Rock of Ages Band, featuring original performers from the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical. You can connect to more about Symphony on the Prairie by clicking here.
