Three finalists for an upcoming vacancy on the Indiana Supreme Court have been announced. The Judicial Nominating Commission will formally submit the candidates to Governor Mike Pence, who will ultimately select the successor of Justice Brent Dickson.
Dickson is set to retire at the end of next month after 30 years on the bench.
The JNC weighed factors including legal education, writings and reputation in the practice of law. Twenty-nine public interviewees were considered, which 15 receiving a second public interview last month.
