The cornerstone of the PGA Tour’s FedExCup Playoff, which will attract the top 70 golfers in the world, has exceeded goals for corporate support and volunteers.
"The support has been overwhelming and we’re really excited," said Vince Pellegrino, Senior Vice President, Tournaments, for the Western Golf Association.
Professional golf’s top stars will vie for an $8.5 million purse at the prestigious event, which will be held September 6-11. It is expected to attract more than 150,000 visitors and have a $30 million impact on the central Indiana economy.
Pellegrino says the corporate community and golf fans will see numerous new hospitality options this year.
Pellegrino spoke with Inside INdiana Business Television Host Gerry Dick about some of the new features this year.
