Indianapolis-based enVista is expanding its presence in the Asian-Pacific market to take advantage of the expanding demand. The software developer and consulting firm says it specializes in both physical and digital commerce solutions by improving efficiencies.

The company has announced it is adding offices in Singapore and Sydney, Australia. The firm says there is growing demand for its supply chain and commerce expertise in that region.

The APAC region will account for $2.3 trillion in online spending in 2019, according to e-commerce marketplace Rakuten. That figure represents a 25 percent year-over-year increase for online sales.

enVista says that explosive growth, retailers, distributors, and manufacturers require improved distribution efficiencies, inventory management, reduced shipping costs, and profitable order orchestration.

“The expansion and growth into APAC are crucial steps for enVista to help organizations seeking to improve their business operations performance and customer impact in the APAC region,” said Peter Kendall, managing director, APAC enVista. “We are bringing 20 years of enVista’s success and performance to the APAC customer base, as we continue to grow.”

The company has already established offices in India and the United Kingdom, but they also saw a void in the Asia Pacific region.

“Our global presence has always been strong but adding more dedicated APAC resources will be a key differentiator as we continue to expand our geographical footprint to meet the demand of our clients,” said enVista Chief Executive Officer Jim Barnes.
