Sun King has named Joe Burns vice president of sales. He previously served as national sales manager for Cigar City Brewing in Tampa, Florida. Burns is a graduate of Indiana University and has been in beer sales for roughly 20 years. He began his career as a store manager for 21st Amendment and then in sales and operations with Upland before moving to Florida to take an opportunity with JJ Taylor Distributing. At JJ Taylor, he grew to become director of craft and specialty brands over the course of 10 years. In 2012, Burns took an opportunity to join Cigar City Brewing and lead their sales efforts, where he help shepherd CCB from 13,000 barrels to more than 70,000 barrels this year.
