Sun King Adds Air Cleaning Systems

Indianapolis-based Sun King Brewing Co. has added new equipment designed to improve air quality at all of its locations. The brewery is partnering with iAIRE LLC, also based in Indy, to install new ionization air cleaning systems, which it says removes 90% of human coronaviruses, including the virus that causes COVID-19.
Sun King cites clinical studies which suggest ionization as one of the best methods to reduce the number of airborne molds, pathogens and viruses at indoor locations.
“The health and safety of our guests and team members continues to be our top priority,” said Clay Robinson, co-founder of Sun King Brewery. “We put many health and safety measures into place to strengthen our processes after the quarantine period, and after consuming the research on ionization and working with iAIRE’s local team to install the systems at all of our locations, we are proud to be able to utilize this new technology as an extra step in our overall strategy to keep our customers and team members safe.”
Sun King says the new air cleaning systems add to the COVID-19 precautions already in place at its locations, including face masks, hands-free menus, social distancing requirements, and sanitization procedures.
