Student Video Showing in Dozens of Theaters

The video parodies common Apple advertisements

A group of Huntington University digital media students has produced a video that is playing at 30 Goodrich Quality Theaters locations. The minute-long, "silence your cell phones" video will run through January at theaters in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Missouri and Illinois.

The video launched at the theaters on Friday, November 20. Its run through January 2016 allows it to run before major movies including Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens.

The video parodies common Apple advertisements, and spotlights the "off button" feature, which it says enhances the viewing experience for the user and those nearby. Junior film production major Adam Konger, from South Whitley, led the production. You can see the video by clicking here.
