The Studebaker National Museum has named Pat Slebonick its next executive director. He succeeds Rebecca Bonham, who came to the organization in 2001.
Slebonick previously served in several positions with the Muscarelle Museum of Art in Virginia. He was most recently associate director where he oversaw development, marketing, volunteer engagement and outreach efforts. The University of Virginia graduate also has a JD from the William & Mary School of Law.
During her time leading the museum, Bonham was instrumental in private and public fundraising efforts for design and construction of the Studebaker
National Museum’s current location. She helped it achieve American Alliance of Museums accreditation in 2007 and secured a National Parks Service grant for conservation of eight vehicles designated "National Treasures."
Slebonick will begin February 1.
