‘Strong’ New Class Drives Near-Record Enrollment

Grace College & Seminary in Winona Lake has welcomed its second-largest undergraduate class since the college’s founding in 1948. Nearly 1,280 undergrads are enrolled. Grace says online, graduate and seminary students for the 2017-2018 academic year total 877.
Vice President of Enrollment Management and Marketing Cindy Sisson says "we are very pleased to again have a strong entering class of more than 400 students. We’ve made this benchmark for six years in a row now. It’s also encouraging to see an increasing number of students choose accelerated and blended degrees. It seems clear that our efforts in innovation and affordability are paying off." Blended degrees refer to students pursuing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in four years, which hit a record this year.
Business majors were a big driver of the increase and now number a record 328, up 20 percent from three years ago.
Grace also updated its $37 million Aspire Campaign for Grace College & Seminary, which it says has raised nearly $30 million to date. You can connect to more about the enrollment figures by clicking here.
