Strada Takes Wraps Off Downtown Indy HQ
Indianapolis-based Strada Education Network has cut the ribbon on its new downtown Indy headquarters. The national education nonprofit says the space in Market Tower not only houses its 80 Indy-based employees, but provides much-needed meeting space to host its partner organizations. Strada looks to strengthen pathways between education and employment, especially among low-income students and Americans without a post-high school degree.
In an interview with Inside INdiana Business Reporter Mary-Rachel Redman, President and Chief Executive Officer William Hansen said, because Strada has a nationwide footprint, locating its headquarters in a central spot was critical.
At the ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday, Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett said Strada has been a great partner with the city and state to try and improve the skills gap throughout Indiana.
