State to Report July Unemployment Numbers

The Indiana Department of Workforce Development will release the state's July employment report Monday morning. June's jobless rate was 8.5 percent, up from 8.3 percent the previous month. Among neighboring states, Michigan's unemployment rate for July was 8.8 percent, up from 8.7 percent in June.

The unemployment rate in Illinois was 9.2 percent in July, up from 9.1 percent in June.

Kentucky's jobless rate was 8.5 percent, up from 8.4 percent in June.
