State to Honor ‘Companies to Watch’

The state of Indiana will honor this year’s Companies to Watch this evening in Indianapolis. The Indiana Economic Development Corp. says the program aims to recognize companies throughout the state that make an "astounding impact" on the state’s economy.
The IEDC will honor 14 companies representing a wide range of industries at this evening’s ceremony. The business come from Elkhart, Hamilton, Marion, Monroe, Posey, Steuben, St. Joseph, Vigo and Whitley counties. The companies are selected based on criteria including employment, growth, philanthropic efforts, innovation and combating potential economic hurdles, such as work force and capital challenges.
Inside INdiana Business Television Host Gerry Dick will host the event. IEDC President Jim Schellinger and newly-appointed Chief Innovation Officer Ian Steff will also take part in the ceremony.
