State Revenue Falls in August

General Fund revenues were just under $1.1 billion, which is nearly 4 percent higher than the same period last year.
For the second consecutive month, the monthly revenue totals were offset by a net loss of $18.8 million in corporate tax collections. Individual income tax collections, and racino wagering collections were also below the most recent revenue forecast, which was set in December 2017.
Year-to-date General Fund collections totaled $2.2 billion through August, which remains 0.4 percent below projections, but 2.7 percent higher than the same period last year. You can connect to the full revenue report by clicking here.
