The Indiana State Budget Agency says last month’s total of more than $1.3 billion is more than $20 million above the same month in 2016.
The General Fund revenue totals beat projects by 0.6 percent. The estimates are based on the revenue forecast, which was most recently adjusted last month.
Individual income tax collections, corporate tax collections and riverboat wagering collections were 2.8 percent, 0.7 percent and 4.5 percent above the monthly estimate in December, respectively. Sales tax collections and racino wagering collections were both below estimates.
