The agency says adjusted gross revenue last month decreased to $184 million, compared to more than $211 million during the same period a year earlier. The results reflect an 8.5 percent state-approved deduction.

Horseshoe Casino Hammond's adjusted gross revenue of $45.3 million in December is down from more than $36 million during the same period in 2012. Horseshoe Southern Indiana was off slightly at $21.2 million, from $22.2 million.

Hollywood Casino in Lawrenceburg again reported the largest monthly year-over-year decrease among Indiana gaming venues. Last month, it took in nearly $16.6 million in revenue, compared to $29.5 million during February 2013.

Horseshoe Cincinnati has had a significant impact on the region since opening about a year ago The other two venues in the area, Rising Star in Rising Sun and Belterra Casino in Florence, also reported lower monthly numbers.
