Indiana State Police Superintendent Douglas Carter has promoted Ronald Galaviz to the rank of first sergeant within the public information office where he will serve as the assistant chief public information officer. Galaviz graduated from the 50th Indiana State Police recruit academy in 1993 and has served out of the Fort Wayne Post.
