The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has promoted Aja May to senior vice president of external relations. She will be responsible for the 12-location system’s development and marketing operations. May has been with the museum since 2013. Prior to joining the museum, she spent the previous decade in higher education marketing at Purdue University and the Commission for Higher Education. Also, Christine Totten was named vice president of marketing. She most recently served as creative director at the museum for the past three years. Totten will oversee the marketing, advertising and public relations efforts.
