The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites has hired Emily Reth as site manager and Brittany Southworth as program developer for the Lanier Mansion State Historic Site in Madison. Reth most recently served as director of the Barker Mansion and Civic Center in Michigan City, Indiana. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in history from Valparaiso University and has a master’s degree in history and public history from Wright State University.  Southworth has previously worked as an employment specialist, office assistant and media and marketing manager. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Indiana University.
