State Gaming Revenue Rises

The Indiana Gaming Commission says monthly revenue at Indiana casinos increased in March. The state reports adjusted gross revenue was $209 million, up from $199 million during the same month in 2016.
Of the state’s 13 gaming operations, all but two reported increases in revenue. Indiana Grand Casino in Shelbyville saw the biggest gain, increasing $4 million to $26 million. Belterra Casino Resort in Florence also rose $2.1 million for a $10.4 million March total.
Ameristar Casino East Chicago saw the biggest dip in the state, dropping $2 million to $19.8 million. Majestic Star II Casino in Gary fell $500,000 to $5.8 million.
