State Gaming Revenue Drops

State Gaming Revenue Drops Indiana Grand Casino saw the highest increase in March.

The Indiana Gaming Commission says monthly revenue at Indiana casinos decreased in August. The state reports adjusted gross revenue was $167 million, down from $173 million during the same month last year.

Of the state’s 13 gaming operations, only three reported increases in revenue, including Indiana Grand Casino in Shelbyville, which was up $1.2 million to just under $20 million. Belterra Casino Resort in Florence saw a $600,000 increase, bringing its August total to $9.8 million.

Ameristar Casino Hotel in East Chicago saw the biggest dip in the state, dropping $2.4 million to $16 million. Horseshoe Southern Indiana Hotel and Casino in Elizabeth fell $1.6 million to $18.6 million.
