State Fair Unveils 2015 Attendance

Subscribe NowThe Indiana State Fair Commission says this year’s event drew more than 907,000 people, marking its fifth-highest attendance on record. Organizers say the 2015 fair boasted four days with attendance over 70,000, including a record-breaking opening Saturday.
The commission says the fair included 12,416 exhibitors representing nearly 45,000 exhibits. The fair also reported its best $2 Tuesday in the event’s history.
Organizers say this year’s event, dubbed the Year of the Farmer, featured an "overwhelming display of all things agriculture. It featured 24 4-H youth winners being awarded a total of nearly $100,000 in monetary awards.
Next year’s fair is scheduled for August 5-21, 2016.
