State Fair Bringing The Circus to Town

The Indiana State Fair is adding to its multitude of attractions this summer as part of this year’s theme, "STEP RIGHT UP!" Organizers say fairgoers will have the opportunity to experience the new Big Top Circus, which will feature three shows daily during this year’s event.
The circus will perform for 1,600 people per show and will feature acrobats, clowns and trapeze artists, among other attractions. The circus will be presented in a single ring and will not include any exotic animals, according to fair officials.
One of the featured performers at the Big Top Circus will be Bello Nock, who known as the "World’s Greatest Comic Daredevil."
"Indiana has a rich Circus heritage, so we are thrilled to offer our own Big Top Circus and add even more value and authentic moments to the State Fair experience," said Cindy Hoye, executive director, Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center. “The Indiana State Fair is the greatest showcase of agriculture and entertainment, and I can’t tell you how excited we are to add a Circus into that mix.”
