The state rate, released last week, shows Indiana continues to experience near decade-low jobless levels.
The statewide jobless rate hit its lowest level in more than a decade at the end of last year.
Counties in the Top 5 highest and lowest have changed little, compared to the same month a year ago.
Lowest unemployment rate among Indiana counties:
- 1. Hamilton – 3.7
- 2. Dubois – 3.9
- 3. LaGrange – 4.0
- 4. Bartholomew – 4.1
- 5 (t). Hendricks, Elkhart, Boone, Adams – 4.2
Highest unemployment rate among Indiana counties:
- 1. Greene – 8.8
- 2. Vermillion – 8.5
- 3 (t). Lake – 7.8
- 3 (t). LaPorte – 7.8
- 5. Lawrence – 7.7
