The Indiana State Board of Education announced new leadership by electing BJ Watts (pictured) as chair, Katie Mote as vice chair, and Gordon Hendry as secretary. Watts is executive director of Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation’s OptIN program. The board also welcomed newly-appointed member Greg Gastineau, who will complete the term of Dr. Vince Bertram, who resigned at the end of 2018.
