Starke Co. Economic Development Foundation Elects Executive Director

The board of directors of the Starke County Economic Development Foundation has selected Larry Wickert as executive director. Wickert, who is also a member of the board, has served in the role on an interim basis since the beginning of the year.

Wickert previously served as an agronomy consultant and has also served two terms as president of the Starke County EDF board. The foundation says he was instrumental in initiating its newly-formed Agriculture Committee, as well as the Quality of Life initiative in partnership with the Starke County Chamber of Commerce.

Wickert is also a former Starke County Commissioner.
