Fort Wayne-based STAR Financial Bank has named Parry Leavell (pictured) commercial banker.  He brings more than 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as chief lending officer for Community State Bank in Avilla. Leavell holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan. Also, John Lee has been named private banking manager. He brings more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, most recently as private banker with Huntington National Bank in Indianapolis. Lee received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Hanover College and volunteers with St. Mary’s Child Center and Junior Achievement. The bank also promoted Leslee Derbeck (pictured) to employee benefits account manager. She has more than 20 years’ experience working with Employee Benefit clients. Derbeck is currently pursuing her degree in Business Management from Ivy Tech.  She is a Whitley County Chamber Ambassador and volunteers for Junior Achievement.
