STAR Bank’s North Region President Joe Martin has announced plans to retire in the first quarter of 2022. He has held many roles across the bank during his nearly 40 years at STAR. Martin began as a collector for 1^st National Bank of Madison County that later rolled into STAR.

He spent much of his career in leaderships positions serving Madison County, Elwood, Anderson, Marion, and Kokomo before moving into his current position of north regional president in 2012.  He also served as president and chairman of STAR Insurance Agency, and as a member of the Board of Directors for: STAR, Security Bank in Elwood, and Titan Investments.
