St. Vincent has selected Hossain Marandi to serve as president of Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. He brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience, recently serving as vice president of physician services at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida and St. Joseph’s Hospital-South in Riverview, Florida. Marandi has also served in other executive roles at St. Joseph’s, including executive medical director from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, he has held leadership positions with HealthPoint Medical Group in Tampa. He will oversee daily operations for the award-winning hospital that specializes in neonatology, cardiology, pediatric and fetal surgery, and cancer services. Marandi earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee – Memphis College of Medicine. He completed his general pediatrics residency and earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, where he was also chief pediatric resident. Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent is a member of Ascension, the nation’s largest Catholic and not-for-profit health system.
