Evansville-based St. Mary’s Health has named Dan Vick vice president of medical affairs. He most recently served as vice president of medical affairs, chief medical officer and corporate compliance officer at Oneida Healthcare in New York. Vick is a successful physician with a strong foundation in leadership and a diverse background in clinical practice, education and process improvement. He completed his medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, and earned his Master of Business Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Vick is also currently working toward a Doctor of Health Administration from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. In his new role, he will oversee the development and continuous improvement of processes related to medical practice review, governance, credentialing, privileging, physician peer review, medical information systems and telemedicine opportunities.
