St. Mary’s Health in Evansville has named Heidi Dunniway chief medical officer. She is a member of the clinic teaching staff at the St. Francis Family Medicine Residence Program and previously served as president of the Indiana State Medical Association.
Before joining St. Mary’s, Dunniway practiced with Otolaryngology Associates in Indianapolis. She is also a member of the board of directors for the Indiana State Medical Association and the Indianapolis Medical Society. In her new role, Dunniway will work to develop and implement the health provider’s agenda for the delivery of clinical services.
Dunniway earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana-Champaign and completed her residency at Ohio State University.
Late last year, St. Mary’s Health announced a clinical alliance with Kentucky-based Owensboro Health. The organizations remain independent under the agreement.
