Saint Joseph’s College Rector Barry Fischer has named Bill Hogan vice president for advancement of the school’s Phoenix Project. He will focus on fundraising and promotion as the school attempts to "rise from the ashes" of mounting debt that forced it to suspend operations in May.

The St. Joseph’s graduate worked for the school in the 1980s as an athletics director, head men’s basketball coach, business manager and associate professor. Hogan has worked in sales and athletics for the University of San Francisco and Seattle University. Hogan holds degrees from SJC and Bowling Green State University.
