Saint Joseph’s College will launch a five-year dual degree program in mathematics and engineering. The program will be open to students starting in the fall.
The program will give students the chance to earn a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Saint Joseph’s College and a second degree, specific to their area of interest, from an accredited engineering program. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA to remain in the program.
"This exciting Dual Degree Program will provide a thorough and rigorous education that will help prepare students to become the well-rounded and capable professionals that their field requires," Saint Joseph’s said in a prepared statement.
The college says the program will help students meet a growing demand for qualified engineers and allow them to further their education in other cooperating programs after they earn their degrees. Click here for more information on the dual degree program.
