Connecticut-based SS&C Technologies Inc. (Nasdaq: SSNC) is moving into additional space in Evansville. The Growth Alliance for Greater Evansville says the financial software provider has outgrown its current office at city-owned Innovation Pointe, as it adds IT and technical sales jobs. The company announced plans in 2011 to eventually create 500 jobs in Vanderburgh County.

GAGE President Debbie Dewey says the company currently employs around 125 workers and should continue to add more.

She says Evansville is one of the global employer's fastest-growing offices. SS&C has expressed some interest in potentially renovating and occupying more of its new space as it grows.
