Sports Corp. Rebrands Charity Tournament

The Indiana Sports Corp. is rebranding its annual event that, to date, has generated more than $6.5 million for youth sports programs. The former Youthlinks Charity Golf Tournament will now be known as the Inspiring Sports Charity Golf Tournament.
The organization says the name change is part of an effort to pull all youth programs and initiatives under the new Inspiring Sports umbrella. The tournament raises money for the Inspiring Sports Grant Program, which supports organizations providing underserved youth with opportunities to participate in sports, fitness activities and life skills programming.
"Although under a new title, the Inspiring Sports Charity Golf Tournament will continue the legacy of providing opportunities to underserved youth with proceeds from the tournament going towards the Inspiring Sports Grant Program," said Cindy Simon-Skjodt, chair of the ISC Board’s Youth Committee. "The Grant Program has proudly received more than $2.2 million since its inception that has gone towards 238 youth-serving organizations."
The Inspiring Sports brand also includes the Inspiring Sports Equipment for Kids program, formerly known as Geared for Health, which provides donated sports equipment to youth-serving organizations throughout the state.
The 31st annual Inspiring Sports Charity Golf Tournament will take place June 25 at The Sagamore Club in Noblesville.
