Plans from Catalyst Lifestyles LLC for the more than 170-acre development received unanimous approval Monday from the city’s plan commission.
Managing Director Tony Czapla says the project could go before the full council Thursday.
Developers released details of the proposal last month. Plans include a 165,000 square-foot dome, 150-room hotel and a cable wakeboard park on a 15-acre lake. The property where the development, a first-of-its-kind in the state, would be located was purchased last year for $6 million from the city.
