Indianapolis-based radiopharmaceutical developer and manufacturer SpectronRx has named Peter Webner chief operating officer. Webner has more than 35 years of nuclear medicine and radiopharmaceutical industry experience.
Prior to joining SpectronRx, Webner worked for GE Healthcare where he served as general manager of breast oncology U.S. Webner joined GE (NYSE: GE) as part of the company’s acquisition of Zionexa, where he was chief executive officer.
Webner is also a licensed nuclear medicine technologist.
“Along with a proven track record of increasing revenue and bringing new products to market, Peter is also a subject matter expert with a deep understanding of our industry. And as we continue to innovate and grow, he will lead initiatives across our business units that drive exceptional results for our partners and patients globally.” said SpectronRx Chief Executive Officer John Zehner.
SpectronRx has four U.S locations, including three in Indiana. The company says Webner’s expertise will help it to scale and meet the growing demand for medical isotopes around the world.
